Games are Essential
Games play a central role in our mission. In a world of screens and solitude, games have the remarkable power to transcend ages, cultures, and backgrounds, and bring people together. Whether it's the thrill of a well-played move or the laughter that erupts during a family game night, games create shared experiences that strengthen bonds and make treasured memories that last a lifetime.
Meet Our Founder
Hi, I'm Jason. Entertaining families has been my life's passion. When I was younger, I had the rare opportunity to study and train at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, where I learned not only the art of pie-throwing, but also how humor plays a vital role in linking our common humanity. Upon graduation, I was honored to land a position on the production team of Sesame Street – a touchstone of my early childhood. It was there where I witnessed firsthand the magic of the Muppets, and the power of entertaining children and grownups simultaneously. I took those lessons to Gamewright, a leading family games company, where I developed over 200 games including such household hits as Sleeping Queens, Rory's Story Cubes, Forbidden Island, Qwixx, Dragonwood, Outfoxed, Trash Pandas, and Sushi Go!
It Goes Back to Camp
Much of who I am today I owe to the many summers I spent at camp. It's where I first discovered my love for the performing arts, as well as my passion for games. (Capture the flag, anyone?)
Camp brings out the best in us. It offers an escape from our daily routines, a supportive environment to try new things, and a chance to unplug and re-connect not only with nature, but also – with each other.
In an effort to enable more children to experience the wonders of camp, a portion of our profits goes towards funding camp scholarships. Thanks for your support!
